Law for Her
WHY FOR HER?
We are the fairer sex, we have beautiful bodies, great verbal abilities, soft skins and loving partners. So what more could a woman want? Legal protection of course!
IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS WHY, BUT IN CASE YOU ARE STILL NOT SURE, HERE ARE SOME HINTS:
- 54% of all murderers plead guilty to killing their wives.
- 1 in every 4 South African women is assaulted by their partners weekly.
- The average woman stays in an abusive relationship for 10.5 years before leaving.
- 1 in every 3 women in SA will be raped.
- Around 70% of parents with maintenance orders against them default at some point.
- 1 in 2 marriages in SA end in divorce.
SO YOU CAN EITHER:
- Wait another 10.5 years and see whether things improve,
OR
- Become a FOR HER member and have your legal rights protected for as little as R60 per month and take
charge of your own legal destiny.
WITHOUT FOR HER, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF:
- You catch your partner with the secretary and you want a divorce?
- You are being verbally, emotionally or physically abused?
- Your partner refuses to pay maintenance, yet drives around in the latest sports car?
- You have a labour related problem - as in workplace, not as in the miracle of birth?
- In the last 2 years the only promotion you have received at work, was the one from the local supermarket sending you a toothpaste sample?
- You have been arrested and you need bail?
HOW IT WORKS
FOR HER functions on a subscription basis. You give us R60 per month and we give you 24 hour-access to our legal team. We also throw in a funky membership card and membership guide.
You will have easy access to our services and benefits. The best part is that we have a 24-hour emergency line, so if you get into trouble any time day or night, we'll look after you. You may also personally consult with us at one of our national offices, fax, write or e-mail us your legal problems.
Our legal advisors and mediators deal with each and every problem in the strictest confidence. We know that you do not want the world to know about the problems you are facing. You will be advised of your rights in the particular case and the steps that are to be taken. Our legal advisors and mediators will then mediate on your behalf in order to solve your problem as soon as possible and to reach an amicable settlement. We also cover matters that cannot be mediated under our Litigation Benefit.
