Mediation Benefit
The Mediation Benefit entitles the member to informal mediation on its behalf with any third party in regards to any legal and/or labour matter incurred in the course of the member's business. This implies that LIPCO's legal advisors and mediators will attempt to solve such matter by way of assistance, informal mediation and negotiations, with no further cost to the member. Mediation has proven to be the most successful tool in resolving disputes out of court and LIPCO's proud history as South Africa's largest mediation firm supports this statement. LIPCO will do its utmost best to solve the member's legal matter under the Mediation Benefit.
Added Value Benefits
For Business membership entitles a member to a 20% to 35% discount (depending on the value of the property) on transfer and bond registration fees when purchasing immovable property in south Africa, provided that the transfer is handled by a LIPCO appointed attorney. The value of these discounts usually amounts to R7000, depending on the value of the immovable property. For Business members also receive discount from LIPCO affiliate companies.
